This Final Research Project is for a class called Advanced Computer Architecture at UTB/TSC under the Computer Science Department. We will design, build, test, analyze and report on our findings of processor performance gains on a multi-core processor, as opposed to single core, of a self-balancing robot resembling an inverted pendulum. This robot will be capable of sensing surrounding environment data through sensors and autonomously avoid obstacles. Nevertheless, to avoid mishaps, human control is only a switch away.
